The Instant Gratification of Crochet

This is my latest crochet project, not quite as instant as my many other smaller crochet projects, but the easy squares were very fun to make. The piecing together was more of a jigsaw puzzle, but well worth the effort for crazy square interest! This is my very first Granny Rug. I only re-learned to crochet 3 years ago and have taken to it like a duck to water! Previously I was a slowish knitter, but my crochet projects are very fast to produce. With the exception of this rug most of my crochet projects have all been designed by me too, which adds to the fun. Crochet is many times faster than knitting and has the added advantage of being lacy and easy on the eye too with very little effort.

Crafts allow you to zone-out, clear and process emotions, that’s why they feel so good to do. Plus you have the added bonus of the finished product!
